How far will you travel?

Our business name 'Compass Curtains' says it all. Although we are based in the Byron Shire we have clients throughout the Tweed, Ballina, Lismore & Richmond Shires. If you are within a reasonable daily travelling time we will be delighted to come to you.

Do I have to visit your store to see fabric samples?

If we are invited to show samples it is always best to display them in your home or office. That way you are seeing the colour and texture of the fabric as it will be seen each day and not in the different light of our store. Of course we welcome you to our store if you wish to browse amongst our extensive fabric sample range. When you have made your selection we would be pleased to then bring them to your home or office so that you will be completely satisfied with your choice.

Are your measure and quotations free of charge?

Yes. Each measure and quote is totally obligation free.

If I accept your quote, how do I pay?

We will require a deposit, usually ranging from 25% (large projects) to 50% (low value projects). This enables us to acquire the fabric and proceed with the making. A substantial part of our business involves trained and expert sewing and we need to meet certain costs to complete the project. In very large commercial projects we may ask for 'progress payments', but all this is agreed beforehand. In every case the balance of the sale is paid only when the complete project is installed and you are delighted with the result.

What 'warranty' and after sales services do you provide?

We have found our greatest warranty is to offer an unconditional 'Money Back' guarantee if you are not delighted with the product (we have never been asked for a refund). Some fabrics stretch slightly when they have been hung for a short while and in the rare event of that happening we will alter the curtain hem so that the fit is perfect. In the even rarer event that there is a flaw in the fabric, or some other accessory needs replacement, we will cheerfully replace the faulty component.

Our entire reputation rests on each client being completely happy. If you are not happy, then neither are we.
